I adore your work! Definitely time for me to try out encaustic, one way or another. Maybe melting crayons as a first step?
Do you have a workshop anywhere near you? That would be the way to go. Crayons do not have the same look but do what you have to do. Encaustic medium is a combination of damar tree resin and beeswax. Enjoy.
