The 2013 fall season is a busy one to say the very least. On the calendar first is the WCAGA (The Women’s Caucus for Art of Georgia’s “More” exhibition at Brenau University. It’s opening reception is September 19th, a Thursday beginning at 5:30pm. Earlier in the day I will be conducting an encaustic workshop for some of the art students at the school. I look forward to introducing the technique. Should be fun. I want to mention that the exhibit was juried by Susan Bridges, director of Whitespace Gallery. The work in the exhibit includes not only paintings but installation and sculpture. The exhibit will continue until December 15th.
Then comes a busy October with an WCAGA Art Share in my studio on October 6th, an encaustic demonstration at the Tri-Cities Performing Arts Magnet School on October 11 and then the last Encaustic Workshop in my studio for the year on the weekend of October 19 & 20, Saturday and Sunday, 10:30am to 4 pm.
Last but not least is the one day workshop at the Booth Museum sponsored by the Booth Artist Guild. You can visit my website for a link to the PDF information.
Looking forward to a great autumn. More to come.
So beautiful, I love the little red dots. And you even wore a matching sweater! 🙂
You’re certainly busy!
